Booking your slot(s):

To ensure we have enough space and time for your gear, please note our slot requirements:

• Turntables: 1 slot per deck – 2 slots for a pair.
• CDJs: 1 slot covers up to 2 units.
• Mixers: 1 slot per unit.
• Controllers: 1 slot per unit.

Please verify your booking total matches your equipment list. If 2 slots are required, please only pick a day with 2 free slots!

Booking Information:

To secure your slot, an upfront booking fee of £60 is required (per slot), which will be fully deducted from the final cost of your service. Some equipment requires 2 slots. Please check before booking. 

Drop-off Times:

Please ensure your equipment arrives by either 10am or 2pm, depending on your scheduled slot. For your convenience, early drop-offs or drop-offs the day before are also welcome.

Cancellations & Changes:

Booking fees are non-refundable unless at least one week’s notice is provided. While we can move your deposit to a new date, please be aware that we typically have a 2-3-month lead time!

Personal drop off and collection is always preferred if possible, if not, please see the packaging requirements below…

Packaging Requirements:

Turntables:

Due to a high volume of turntables arriving with transit damage, we are having to tighten our packaging requirements.
To prevent these avoidable issues, we now strictly require that all Technics Turntables be shipped in Pimp My Decks custom boxes.
Please note that original Technics boxes and other forms of packaging are no longer accepted, including flight cases, as they have repeatedly proven insufficient for safe transit.

We hate having to tell a customer their turntable has been damaged in transit!
We must document the exterior damage through photos, film the unboxing, and conduct a detailed inspection, all to report the unfortunate and often costly news to you!
Furthermore, securing compensation from couriers is notoriously difficult. Even with insurance, the claims process involves extensive paperwork and strict evidence requirements that rarely guarantee a full recovery of repair costs, hence we must insist on using our own tried and tested boxes.

CDJ’s / Mixers / Controllers:

Original Packaging:

This is acceptable if the original inserts are included, but we recommend packing in additional outer boxes for extra safety.

Flight Cases:

Heavy duty flight cases are acceptable. Please note, some couriers require hard cases to be wrapped or packed in cardboard or boxed prior to sending. Soft cases are ok as long as they are protected by outer packing materials and boxed.

Own Packaging:

We appreciate you may no longer have the original packaging, so please ensure the CDJ / Mixer are extremely well packed so they arrive safely. The same packaging will be used for return. If we feel the packaging is not adequate we may charge a return packaging fee.

Please do not use pallet wrap or similar type cling films, these are often refused by the courier!
