Custom Technics Lamborghini Pearl White SL1210MK2 (x2)
This project started out with a matched pair of Technics SL1210MK2.
Fully matched mainboards and internal components. The SL1210MK2-XGE series have the most reliable mainboards to date. The mainboards have been fully tested, solder reflowed on the main IC chips and commonly failing resistors / diodes replaced.
The decks have been fully stripped down and all components disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and calibrated back to factory specification.
Brand new pitch sliders, pitch felts, phono and earth leads fitted during the service procedure, which ensures these decks are running super tight and like a brand new pair.
All original paintwork fully removed and etch primed. A very particular undercoat is then applied, followed by a special basecoat and tinted lacquer, making this 3 stage paint technique something incredibly awesome and amazing !
Beautifully finished in Lamborghini Pearlescent White paintwork provided by our professional Bodyshop. Original Technics factory graphics screen printed and UV cured in black, hard wearing enamel, plus fresh black with white text pitch trims.
Colour coded tonearm sections to match.
The original platter was fully stripped of old paint, repainted in satin black. Edges and dots re-faced back to silver and then machine polished for a chrome finish.
Complimentary Ice blue / light blue LED conversion including strobe, 33 / 45 buttons, pop up light and pitch zero.
Full MK7 style ‘blackout pack’ including real ABS black plastic button kit for Start/Stop, 33/45, Pitch Knob, Pop Up Surround. Vulcanised tonearm tube, headshell collar and pop up turret.
